Technical Project Lead

This Position requires a person with a systems development background, understanding of technical design and architecture components, seasoned in customer interactions, good at gathering requirements and the ability to overcome project issues and delays, along with providing work recommendations to develop solutions.

• Work with Project Manager to come up with project estimates, plan and resource assignments.
• Work with architect and team to deliver high-level and detailed design.
• Review team member’s implementation to ensure they follow the design and coding guidelines.
• Work with developers to resolve their technical issues and mentor them.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Develop full scale project plans and associated communication documents.
• Anticipate and proactively track, record, remove, and escalate project impediments.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables using tools like Microsoft Project.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
• Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

The Technical Project Lead will contribute to project roadmap planning, providing technical judgment and managing staff resources to help prioritize efforts in a manner consistent with company standards. This person shall demonstrate vocal leadership, not only on technical matters, but also regarding project implementation and strategy.

.Net Developer

The .NET Developer is responsible for designing, developing and troubleshooting high performance and high availability web and windows applications using ASP.NET Ajax, C#, XHTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, WCF, WPF and Silverlight technologies to meet the company’s strategic objectives. He/she is also responsible for adhering to Vital Research Corp .NET development frameworks & best practices and follow Vital Research Corp SDLC processes. We are looking for someone with leadership qualities to grow with our organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Analyze technical requirements and design new components in WPF/Silverlight to meet Vital Research Corp functional, performance and availability requirements.
• Design and develop using Object Oriented design principles and software design patterns such as MVC / MVVM to attain high reusability and maintainability.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Vital Research product architecture and frameworks. Maintain and contribute to Vital Research Corp product platform as necessary.
• Develop database SQL scripts, stored procedures and SSIS packages that meet Vital Research Corp database standards to implement product requirements.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master's or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field is required (Preference will be given to the candidate holding master's degree).
• Possesses strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns specifically in MVC and MVVM and MVVM Light framework.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of C# and the .NET platform.
• Demonstrates good working knowledge of Web services and WCF technologies.
• Demonstrates good working knowledge of WPF and Silverlight Applications.
• Demonstrates knowledge of ADO.NET, TSQL and stored procedure development.
